I had know for a while that I wanted to get my motorcycle permit/license and buy a scooter. I wanted the freedom it would give me and since I am relatively short and it is hard for me to see when I drive a car (unless I have a pillow and automatic pedals) I knew the motorcycle/scooter route was for me. At first I looked at 50cc scooters, but here in MA you can not go on the highway with them, and although that would have been fine, some of the places I wanted to go required highway travel so that was a no go. So I started pricing out 150cc scooters, there were a bit more expensive but not too bad, so I sent an email to the shop where I wanted to buy my scooter for a final price with shipping and the add ons that I wanted. When I got the email back it was under a grand-I was pleased. I also started pricing out the "accessories" that I would need for it; helmet(s), cover, a bully lock, oil, ratchets, etc...I of course wanted to get the best price possible so I did a bit of shopping around before I dove right in. I then made a few purchases now: I bought a pink GPS that was equipped with Bluetooth, that was 50 on eBay, I bought a Bluetooth helmet for 49.32 including shipping. It was brand new but had a scuff mark of where it bumped another helmet. Ebay also sent be a 20 dollar coupon for being a frequent shopper. So I immediately knew I wanted to buy a ratchet/screw driver set. And I knew I wanted it to be pink so after a quick search on eBay I found one, a 52 piece set for 20.99, so I used my coupon and got the price down to .99, I then get .42 in eBay bucks, so that brought the price down to 57 cents. Not bad for a 52 piece set. I also bought some lights that attach to the tire valves. I bought 4 of them for $2.99. I plan to keep buying the other needs as time goes on, as well as putting money aside so I can purchase the scooter. But this is what I have so far. I will update as I buy stuff.
